Exclusive artwork donated by artists such as Sir Peter Blake and Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park are to be auctioned at a special fundraising dinner in Bath to support disadvantaged young people in the city and across the South West.
The event on November 30 is hosted by The Prince’s Trust and sponsored by The AA and Coutts & Co. It will give art-lovers a chance to view and then bid on work not available to the public
As well works by English pop artist Sir Peter Blake CBE – best known for co-creating the iconic sleeve design for the Beatles’ album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band – and Nick Park CBE, other artists to have donated to the event include Anita Klein, one of the most collected printmakers working in Britain today, and Daisy Sims Hilditch, who was recently selected for the BP Awards at the National Portrait Gallery and has been exhibited at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters on The Mall.
