Daisy Sims-Hilditch is a British figurative artist based in London, celebrated for her emotive portraiture and expressive landscapes. With a lineage steeped in artistic tradition—her great-great-grandfather was a Royal Academician, and both her parents are designers —Daisy’s artistic journey began organically, nurtured from a young age by her family, particularly her grandmother, whose mother was also an artist. Drawing and painting were not merely pastimes in her childhood but a fundamental form of expression, encouraged and deeply rooted in her sense of self.

Daisy's portraits are painted from life, to capture the personality and spirit of her subject in a painterly and fluid way. -
Landscape painting
Daisy paints her landscapes "en plein air" in all different types of locations and environments, and loves being out in the open. The practice of painting outdoors informs her studio practice and enhances the use of colour and light in her portraits. -
