One senses in this exhibition a new found lyricism in her works, not only do they seem to say more but they say it in a more colourful and harmonious way. There is an added confidence in the way she handles colour, evident in the burnished terracottas and plangent greens of a Lake Brienz chalet, the impressive skies of Norfolk and the sun-drenched streets of London, more of the artist’s favourite haunts. The eye is led around the canvas not only by skilful composition but also by Daisy’s exuberant and judicious employment of colour.
