Daisy was pleased to exhibition 'Studio Reflections with Spode', 2020, Oil on linen, 70 x 80 cm

"Painted during the lockdown, I was interested in creating a complex composition of various objects in my studio that I have collected over the years. I placed a mirror behind the objects and I liked how my face was in shadow with just a slither of light bouncing off my cheek. This painting is a celebration of my painting life and I enjoyed the challenge."
