Painted during the lockdown, Daisy was interested in creating a complex composition of various objects in her studio that she has collected over the years. The artist comments, "I placed a mirror behind the objects and I liked how my face was in shadow with just a slither of light bouncing off my cheek. This painting is a celebration of my painting life and I enjoyed the challenge."
